Pneumatic Cylinders :
Pneumatic
cylinders (sometimes known as air cylinders) are
mechanical devices which use the power of
compressed gas to produce a force in a
reciprocating linear motion. Hydraulic
cylinders, pneumatic cylinders use the stored
potential energy of a fluid, in this case
compressed air, and convert it into kinetic
energy as the air expands in an attempt to reach
atmospheric pressure.
This air expansion forces a piston to move in
the desired direction. The piston is a disc or
cylinder, and the piston rod transfers the force
it develops to the object to be moved.[1] :85
Engineers prefer to use pneumatics sometime
because they are quieter, cleaner, and do not
require large amounts or space for fluid
storage.
Because the operating fluid is a gas, leakage
from a pneumatic cylinder will not drip out and
contaminate the surroundings, making pneumatics
more desirable where cleanliness is a
requirement. For example, in the mechanical
puppets of the Disney Tiki Room, pneumatics are
used to prevent fluid from dripping onto people

Solenoid Valves :
A solenoid valve is an electromechanical valve for use with liquid or gas.
The valve is controlled by an electric current through a solenoid: in the
case of a two-port valve the flow is switched on or off; in the case of a
three-port valve, the outflow is switched between the two outlet ports.
Multiple solenoid valves can be placed together on a manifold.
Solenoid valves are the most frequently used control elements in fluidics.
Their tasks are to shut off, release, dose, distribute or mix fluids. They
are found in many application areas. Solenoids offer fast and safe
switching, high reliability, long service life, good medium compatibility of
the materials used, low control power and compact design.
Besides the plunger-type actuator which is used most frequently,
pivoted-armature actuators and rocker actuators are also used.
A solenoid valve has two main parts: the solenoid and the valve. The
solenoid converts electrical energy into mechanical energy which, in turn,
opens or closes the valve mechanically. A direct acting valve has only a
small flow circuit, shown within section E of this diagram (this section is
mentioned below as a pilot valve). This diaphragm piloted valve multiplies
this small flow by using it to control the flow through a much larger
orifice.

Ball Valve :
A ball valve is a valve with a spherical disc, the part of the valve which
controls the flow through it. The sphere has a hole, or port, through the
middle so that when the port is in line with both ends of the valve, flow
will occur.
Ball valves are durable and usually
work to achieve perfect shutoff even after years of disuse. They
are therefore an excellent choice for shutoff applications (and
are often preferred to globe valves and gate valves for this
purpose). They do not offer the fine control that may be
necessary in throttling applications but are sometimes used for
this purpose.Ball valves
are used extensively in industrial applications because they are
very versatile, supporting pressures up to 1000 bars and
temperatures up to 482°F (250°C). Sizes typically range from 0.2
to 11.81 inches (0.5 cm to 30 cm). They are easy to repair and
operate.
The body of ball valves may be
made of metal, plastic or metal with a ceramic center. The ball

Rotary actuator find application for 90 deg. angular movement. (180 deg. on
req.) & are most suitable for closing & opening of ball Valve, butter fly
valve, damper positioning, sorting equipments, indexing mechanisms, furnace
doors, ducting flaps etc.

Hydraulic Cylinder :
A Hydraulic cylinder (also called a linear hydraulic motor) is a
mechanical actuator that is used to give a unidirectional force through a
unidirectional stroke. It has many applications, notably in engineering
vehicles.
Hydraulic cylinders get their power from pressurized hydraulic fluid, which
is typically oil. The hydraulic cylinder consists of a cylinder barrel, in
which a piston connected to a piston rod moves back and forth. The barrel is
closed on each end by the cylinder bottom (also called the cap end) and by
the cylinder head where the piston rod comes out of the cylinder. The piston
has sliding rings and seals. The piston divides the inside of the cylinder
in two chambers, the bottom chamber (cap end) and the piston rod side
chamber (rod end). The hydraulic pressure acts on the piston to do linear
work and motion.
Flanges, trunnions, and/or clevisses are mounted to the cylinder body. The
piston rod also has mounting attachments to connect the cylinder to the

Hydraulic Power Pack :
'HPC' make Hydraulic Power Pack consists of a Oil Tank, whose base frame
carries a vertical or horizontal flange mounted. Electrical Motor couple
through a Gear coupling to Vane pump, Gear pump or a Piston Pump, depend on
pressure and capacity.
The suction side of the pump is fitted with a Suction strainer capable of
straining particles of Micron size while the discharge side of pump is
connected to a Manifold Block. On The various faces of the Manifold BLock
directional control valves are mounted. The control valves are suitably
inter connected in the Manifold block through drill passages to eliminate
inter connecting piping. There by achieving by compaction, reduce noise
level, easy accessibility for maintenance just by removing the bolts.
For showing oil level in the tank, oil level indicator with temperature
control gauge is fitted in front of the tank at topside. The drainage system
is given in side of the tank at the bottom. For filling oil in the tank Air
Breather is provided at the cover plate. Return line filter is fitted behind
the Manifold block to purify the used oil & return to the tank. The critical

Spring Balancer :
Spring balancer are made of a sheet metal body, a spring wound on a shaft
with a safe, protective, tensioning system.
Overhead heavy tools Spring Balancer are specially designed to free operator
from weight of the hand tools. The tools are suspended at one end of the
wire rope wound on a drum fitted with a spiral spring. When properly
balanced by adjusting spring tension, the tools become almost weightless in
